Total Coolant Volume on H41AC

We have a 2007 H41AC with a Yanmar 4JH4E engine on which I'm preparing to do a coolant flush/replacement. I find in the engine specs that the coolant capacity of the engine itself is 4.5L. I'd like to get an estimate of the additional coolant volume due to the water heater circuit. I suspect that the additional volume is probably around another 4L or so. Does anyone have more precise data?

Calculate (measurements in inches) the internal volume of the hose to and from the HEX :

π/4 X D² X L = Volume (in³)
1 L = 61 in³

The volume in the HEX tubing is too small to worry about.

You can measure the fluid that you drain from engine and water heater. It will only be an estimate. This will help to have sufficient amount on hand to fill .
