I recently hauled out my 1983 Catalina 30 and replaced the nuts on my keelbolts On recommedation from another Catalina 30 owner, I torqued the nuts to 105 ft/lbs, but that seems too tight. Can anyone confirm that 105 ft/lbs is correct? There seems to be a lot of poping and cracking coming from the keel bolt area.
