Will someone with a service manual for a Yanmar 2GM20F look up the torque required for installing new copper washers at the banjo fittings both at the fuel feed pump and at the fuel filter at the injectors. Both are leaking. It's the out side of the fuel feed pump and at the in side of the fuel filter.

Torque for a banjo bolt.

The torque recommendation for the #6 banjo bolts at the filter is 6 ft.lb. The #8's at the lift pump get 11 ft.lb. If you are working on a leak, you should review the discussions posted earlier under Yanmar Diesel Fuel Leak at the Filter - dated 7/26 - Study "the old banjo" carefully.

Thanks G .T.

Yes, that article was helpful in finding the leaks. I've purchased the copper washers. They are all copper: not coated with rubber as one post mentioned. A diesel mechanic will do the job. I will offer your information to him. We do not have a Yanmar mechanic that travels to our harbor, and it is not feasible to bring our boat to him.
