Topping lift

I have a 22 with two rear back stays and would like to add an ajustable topping lift and get rid of the carzy hook on one of my shrouds. Where do I put it on the mast so it will not get in the way of the shorouds. thx Rudy.

Two backstays?

First of all, why two backstays? A C-22 with its lower forward and aft shrouds certainly does not require two backstays.Are these backstays possibly smaller than 1/8 inch diameter?Are these adjustable running backstays? And if so, where do they attach?My first suggestion would be to have only backstay but make it an adjustable backstay based on the design that is offered by Catalina Direct which you can see in their catalog and even order through them.For the topping lift, I would use the kit supplied by Catalina Direct which is also shown in their catalog, or you could set something up similar using your own supplied parts.
