I need to add a topping lift halyard to my 1982 27' Hunter. Boat is covered for winter storage at the moment. Does anyone have info on the length I need or recommended size?
On my 81', the topping lift is wire to line via a small block attached where the wire has an eye splice.I tie off a bowline around the block and feed the bitter end through the boom.I use 1/4" which fits perfectly in the delrin sheaves at the end of the boom. Hope this helps.
