Topping Lift tie off for a '22

Having recently purchased a 1984 Hunter 22, where have you found is the best place to secure the boom topping lift when sailing.

TL TIE OFF

It is best to take the TL halyard fwd to the junction of the mast and boom. The line needs to be out of the way when the sail is up and full RD
