Topping Lift - 28.5

My topping lift line is separating. Other than replace the topping lift, anyone have any comments on alternatives, such as boom supports, Boomkickers, rigid boom vangs on 28.5's? I had a Boomkicker on a 26' prior, seemed to work as well. Thanks in advance!!!!

However...

Topping lift is inexpensive and effective.Simply attach 2 bitter ends together to re-do.For gizom sake, you could always attach a small 4-1 purchase as used on racers to raise and lower the boom from the well. Lot easier than a rigid boom vang, which is overkill.
