Tools neded to demast '87 26.5

I just bought a 26.5...I am having it hauled from Florida to Texas.I fly out this Sunday 01/13/02 to have it loaded for transport. I am going to un-step the mast for transport.What tools do I need to take to remove stays?Any other advice having the boat hauled?BTW hauler does have insurance.Please let me know.DavidMaxwell@pobox.comPix of the boat included.

Not Much

Taking down the mast on our h27 requires:- A mast crane to lift the mast- A sling to run from the hook on the crane to the mast under the spreaders- Pliers to pull cotter pins in the turnbuckles- A screwdriver to turn the reluctant turnbuckles- A couple of saw horses to hold the mast once it's down- Some twine to organize and old the stays togetherJoanne and I take a couple of hours to get it down and ready for storage.Good Luck,DavidLady Lillie
