The dimensions
The cabinet is 16" high, 16" wide and 19" deep. Those dimensions are pretty crucial. The top rail is available from Home Depot and only covers the front of the cabinet and the side facing the sink. Do not put railing on the other two sides. After mounting the railing, cut about 3/4" to 1" off the top- most rail of the railing so the cabinet will fit snug against the cabin bulkheads (looks custom).Frame the front of the cabin with 1 1/2" moulding and the door is 15" X 15". If you're gifted with wood, you can make a nice door, I'm sure; but I went to the kitchen cabinet area of Home Depot and bought 15" vanity doors. They have a variety of patterns to choose from and come in either wood grain or white. The only downside is you have to buy two doors, but the price of $26.00 for both is pretty reasonable.I put adjustable brackets inside so I could change the shelf height up or down- which added about 10 bucks to the price. At the time, I was hoping to squeeze two shelves inside; but it didn't seem to work out. Looks great with one, though.I'm still working on the shelf that accompanies it. Many thanks to Tom for his great idea.
