Several months ago, someone advised that Home Depot had a toilet seat that fit a marine head and gave a Part #....Can anyone help retrieve that info??

Household seats only fit larger "household" marine toilets...
Just about any standard size toilet seat you can buy at HD will fit a "household" size marine toilet...but you're not likely to find a seat there that'll fit the smaller "compact" size bowls.

Pete, I got some at Lowes
I got two as did a dock mate. They are the synthetic wood ones with brass hardware for about $13. I looked at their site but did not see it. However, I just looked at Lowes and that was where I got it. It fits IF you reverse the hinges. Simple matter. It is slightly larger than the stock seat, so there could be complications if the seat barely fits in the space (I have the compact head). Anyhow, the price is right and it beats the $80 they want from the manufacturer, altho I hve purchased them on e-bay in the past for $25-ish dollars. Good luck!

These seats are not really that tough to find and you don't need to pay $80.00 or have a home sized seat that requires mickey mousing and modifications. Bemis is one of the largest seat manufacturers in the industry..
