Posted today on our Macgregor site (unfortunately, I have no other details): Dear Valued Customer: It has come to our attention that some of the four stroke model outboard engines, 9.9 - 18 horsepower, may have been produced with a mis-machined flywheel from the flywheel vendor. This may cause premature wear on the flywheel and/or the starter pinion. We request that the engine be taken to your local servicing dealer for inspection or repair at your earliest convenience.
