OK...I've bought my Tohatsu 6hp, Garelick 71090 motor mount, and had a machine shop manufacture me a plate to go on the existing fiberglass wedge.
The problem is...I am having visitors this weekend and want to take them out, but I don't have enough time to get the motor mount on.
Would it be safe to use the Tohatsu with the existing Oday motor mount this weekend? We are talking 10-20 minutes at low speed...if we loose wind and when we dock.
