Toggle - for a 1991 Catalina 30 Tall Rig

When i purchased my boat late last summer, the transporter I used lost the original toggle that was used to connect the back stay to the top of the mast head. thus, i had to use a toggle i had, which was too short, so i had to attached a couple shackles where the split back stay meets the deck, I checked in my user manual that cam with the boat, it shows the part, but it does not show what the size is.

Does anyone know what size I should be looking for? The boat is going back in the water end of April, so i have a little time... My local marine store has many different sizes to choose from, so finding the right size (once i know it) wont be an issue.

its a 1991 Catalina 30 5915 Fin Keel, Tall Rig with split back stay.

Might I suggest

that you buy a few different sizes in the appropriate range that you think would work, keep the receipt and simply return the ones you don't use?

Good suggestion

However, My marina wont be that accommodating to raise the mast and lower it a few times till i get the right size. I will only know i have the right toggle in place once the mast is raised and i connect the stays. I think i would be safe with going a togle that is about 3 inches longer then the one in place now, but would like to know if someone knows the exact size?
