toerail on Oceanis 41?

Is the toerail on an Oceanis 41 teak or some kind of syntetic wood? not sure when looking at it.

Yea I had the same question with my 41's toe rail also,so it doesn't need stain or oil?

The teak color on cockpit benches has started to wear off but the toe rail looks good. That explains why. I don't think it needs anything. Good product.

It's my understanding that it is synthetic (similar to composite decking versus stained wood?)

Yep, that's what I was told when my boat was delivered. It's great stuff (if it holds up to UV over time).
