I have a 1980 Catalina Swing Keel, and I need to add a Toe Zinc or Finger Zinc to the keel because I am going to leave the boat in the water all year. Where on the keel should I locate it, and do I need to run a wire from the zinc ? This is necessary because the swing keel cable breaks just above where the bolt enters the keel. Any suggestions ?
