Toe Rail

I submitted on July 6th butgot no hits on my article. We suffered storm damage and need to replace the toe rail. Taco metals is the only option I have been able to locate. Are there any others out there?  Mike Smittle "Temptation"

Do you need any other option.

Mike:If they have what you need, I would jump on it. This is not something that is easy to find. If this was storm damage, isn't your insurance company going to pick up the tab?You could also contact Catalina and see who they are using for toe rail on their newer models.

Just in Case

you have to replace toe rail with a different model be sure to hang on to the ones taken off of your boat. Don't mean to sound crass but there is always going to be somebody in need. Where was your boat when damaged?

have you tried salvage

If a boat sank, or there was a fire, the aluminum toe rail was probably salvaged. You may find what you need at a reduced price.

yep, had my replaced

hi, yes, i had to have mine replaced after being t-boned by another boat. the railing can be purchased through west marine. they placed both because the new rail did not match the un damaged rail. hope this help, good luck"maverick"
