I’ve got a leak above my quarter berth on my S2 9.2 .has anyone removed the toe rail ? Did they attach it with an adhesive sealant along with the bolts ?
I’m just trying to plan what I’ll need

I would be definitely sure it is from the toerail before going into that. Make sure it’s not from some other place and then running ultimately dripping into q-berth. Winch? Cleat?....

We removed the toe rail because we also had leaks. We used 4200 to reseal it. The boat was out of the water when we did it. Also had leaks at the stanchions and chain plates. We removes the toe rail 1 at a time. It was a lot of work but the boat has been dry for about 9 years.

Butyl is a better sealant for toe rail. Never harden. 35 years on my boat. Never leak.
Ask Mainsail. He has the best stuff.
