Peggy, in your opinion, is there a difference in quality, materials or workmanship between holding tanks made by Ronco and Todd? Your book recommends Ronco but those made by Todd are more readily available here. Thanks for your advise. Fred.

A big difference

Ronco tanks are about 50% thicker--minimum of about 3/8" for their smallest tank, compared to only 1/4" for the largest Todd tanks...corners are even thicker, which means the walls are strong enough to support the weight of the contents without bulging or distorting...400 shapes and sizes--including over 100 non-rectangular--available, compared to and the customer can specify fittings sizes and locations when he orders the tank. Nor do you have to go through a local retailer...you can buy direct from Ronco for a LOT less--their catalog is on the web at http://www.ronco-plastics.com ...and the shipping isn't that bad if you use postal shipping instead of UPS or another shipper.
