It was forecast to be in the high 90s today and we were feeling too lazy to organize a multi day adventure on the Mac 25, so the Capri 14.2 came out of the garage and followed us to our nearest (30 min drive) local lake.

We've been sailing the Mac a lot already this spring, on a much larger lake, but today was the first day we've sailed the Capri since last fall. also the first time we've sailed it with the new set of Ullman sails. It was a great day. did a few laps before lunch in fairly light conditions, then had a picnic under the trees, went back out and took a nap in a secluded cove on the far side of the lake. What could be better? I even dove in the lake from the dock to cool off just before we left for home. invigorating!!
Now if one could just find a sailboat that set up as quick and easy as the Capri, but had the creature comforts and stability of the Mac. oh to dream…...
