Thank you for your response to my post about holding tank chemicals. In order to switch over to KO or odorlos do I need to do anything special, or just empty and flush out (with water) and start using the KO? I see "shock" treatments in WM and I wonder if they're needed. BTW, I'm going to get your book too to keep on-board for when (and if) a problem comes up (or wont go down!). Thanks, Bob

Just flush VERY thoroughly with plenty of

clean water. Best way is to put a few gallons down the pumpout--'cuz that sends water in at the bottom of the tank to stir up any sludge--pump out...repeat...till what you're pumping out is clear. Also flush out the vent line and vent through hull.

Hi Bob, I'm thinking about getting her book, too..

It might make a good coaster...he he. Oh, hi Peggie, any plans to visit the NW for a book signing get-together with your fans? Terry

Unlikely I'll make it to Seattle...

My publisher only sends authors to the major national/regional shows. PSE is the only one on the west coast. However, if the PNW crowd put together a Rendevous of the sort the Chesapeake Bay "mafia" holds every two years, I could be persuaded to come.
