Jim, your photo series on removing a holding tank from a H35.5 is very interesting, and I may follow suit in doing so. However, I wanted to know, since I will contract out a boat yard to do this, how many hours did it take you to remove hoses and tank altogether? Also, did you replace your tank with a bigger one? If so, how big? I would like to increase tank capacity. thanks

Phil-picture is missing from archives

Phil, Jim Rushing's pic of "H35.5 Aft Bulkhead Opening" is missing or unavailable from the archives, even though the title is there. Can you bring it back online? Thanks.

Loaded Question

With the opening in place, it only took a couple of hours to remove the tank and hoses. I tried to remove the hoses before I figured out that the only thing that works, is to cut them. Then its half a day to clean up the boat and all the bilges. I flushed the tank out but, forgot about the intake hose being still dirty. Made a grade A mess. Sprayed everything down with KO per Peggy. Replacing tank with a Ronco B250 (25 gallon. It will require some modifications to the tank area. I will document it for HOW when it is completed.
