 In the spring, I decided to dismantle the mast of the boat, for a general check up, and to install the lights change and radar antennas.
Those who have already done? has advice to give? some pictures of the base where and supported? thanks for the advice.

The crane guys will place the mast on saw horses next to the boat. All you have to do is to disconnect, remove, secure all the running rigging and get the electricals at the mast base preped so they can just pull them through the deck.
They work by the hour so making so they just pick it up pop the shrouds/stays and lay it down is easier on the pocketbook.

Hi Elmax how are you

When the radar dish was mounted on my mast they ordered a special bracket for our mast.

I hope to see more photos when you work on your mast.

Ciao

Thank you very much Mr. Bill for the advice, as I thought, there is no particular warning, excellent signal running rigging.

Hello Paul, we're fine, here in Italy, just do not talk about politics and the climate. In particular, it rains for many days .... much more than usual, the temperature did not go below zero degrees, it seems an eternal autumn, and is not normal. Work continues on CALYPSO, I put the photos of the work on the mast. For a radar Simrad 3G support as I put the photo.
Gone are the work of CALYPSO, I thought of doing a party for the launch,
want to be there?

Vancouver had a new record for cold, and the snow is poor for skiing. We are waiting for a good storm to dump a meter of snow.

I hope you like your new digital radar, it is great to have it overlaid on the chartplotter. It is sensitive enough to display a sea kayaker trying to cross your bow.

Do you have an L.E.D. anchor light on your mast ? I am getting one soon.

Thank you for the pictures.

Ciao

Re: Record Cold Here, everyone fleeing to Mexico

Hello Paul, I put the LED lights inside the boat even in the cabins, a technician advised me, than buy those with a reng between the 12volt to 36volt, so they can withstand a power surge.
