We're thinking of buying a 2000 B 331, but will be using it to cruise = from South Florida over to the Islands and perhaps beyond. Will this = boat do it? Clearly what we have in mind is more than just coastal = cruising. Is this boat suitable for such extended sailing? I see a lot = of advantages--what might be the limitations? Thanks for any input you can provide, Diana

Bigger is better

Outside the boat is a good size. Once inside you will find that beyond the sleeping areas, storage will become the issue. You have to pack alot of stuff and gear and that will become the problem. I would say at least 38' Just my opinion.

Bigger is Better?

Not sure that I would totally agree with you. Lack of storage means that you might have do more planning than just a trip to the supermarket. I would be more concerned with water storage, making the boat seaworthy and safe in heavy weather. Most problems can be overcome with good planning. You will need to work on the interior so that you can eat, sleep and prepare good food safely and comfortably. The boat will do just fine. Bigger also means higher cost of ownership as well.
