Ready to reinforce transom inside & out with starboard type material(one good cutting board cut in half)Motor mount will bolt on to this through the hull with stainless backing plates. I've read a number of my peers advise on this subject one said he used 3m5200 to secure the material to the transom, do you think this is necessary? Once the mount is bolted on nothing should move,or 3m4200 would at least be removeable should the need arise although I don't know why it would since I want the area strong regardless of what mount or engine I use.I just bought a new Tohatsu 9.8 long shaft and Gauhauser mount. Thoughts please. I'm ready to go in a day or two.Thanks Mates.
