Crazy Dave

I had the opportunity to see the Titanic exhibit recently. There are over 300 artifacts that were risen but at the end of the audio tour, the fellow basically said they did not want to disturb much more as it is the resting grave of those who died. It was very interesting and if you should have time to see it, then go as it is well worth the experience. It leaves Raleigh, NC next week and I am not sure where it will go. This was a ship that everyone thought was unsinkable but the good Lord decided otherwise. Often, I stress safety in working on boats and sometimes I tend to go overboard on that issue. However, I want you to know that whatever you do, be careful and safe and do not take things for granted. Once, I charted a boat in Tortolla. I asked many questions and the fellow at the office asked my wife if I was crazy when I excused myself and she of course responded yes; however, she also explained when it comes to water, I respect it. Be careful on how you work on boats.

Good advice

Good advice Dave. Nothing more dangerous than pride and arrogance. It's always wise to step back and think "what can go wrong." I have a friend who got his private pilot's license. He wanted me to go up with him, but I declined because of safety concerns. He said, "You don't have anything to worry about. 90% of all crashes are due to pilot error." In other words he was saying that accidents happend to other less capable people, not him. I knew right then I had made the right decision. Ron Mehringer h26 Hydro-Therapy
