Tiny Little Zinc

I have a Beneteau 331. The zinc on the shaft is a tiny little thing that is called a Jeaneau Jr. They seem to last about two months before they are gone and need to be replaced. Has anyone figured out an alternative zinc system? Or do you all just relace the zinc frequently? I would appreciate any advice on this. Thanks, Liam.

Zinc

On my 361 it is attached just after the propeller nut and screws into the shaft. Like you I get maybe eight weeks and then replace it. I don't know of any other system out there right now and with all the later model Beneteaus I have surveyed that seems to be it. Charlie

Extra Zinc

I also have had a problem with replacing the shaft zinc on my 361. This season I bought from beneteau a small collar zink that fits my 25 mm - 1" shaft and does not interfer with the cutlas bearing. The two zincs are better than one.
