I just recieved my order from Island Girl and after reading upi on everything in the package nowhere does it gives instructions on what to use to clean my tinted plexiglass cabin hatch cover on my Cat 22' Mark II. It tells what to use on CLEAR plexiglass and Lexan only so if anyone out there has the snawer I would love to hear it Thanks Dave LaPere

Use of ISLAND GIRL on plexiglass

Glad you got the order OK. Plexiglass is very clear and ages by "starring" caused by stress risers caused by hot/cold cycle, UV etc. You'll not that stress risers often occur around metal fittings. If the tint is all the way through (presumabley not done with an overlayed film), treat like regular clear plexiglass. Try to avoid washing it when it is piping hot, and AVOID SOLVENTS that can set off or accentuate starring. If really dirty I would use a copious water dilution of IG Pink (say at least 1 in 100, mabe even more dilute). Then use CLEAR HORIZONS to leave a shiny and water+dirt repellent film. If not too dirty just use CLEAR HORIZONS which does have a mild cleaning action. Hope this is of some help send an e-mail via IslandGirlProducts.com and let me know the results. Thanks Jim W
