Tiller Tamer vs. Tiller Lock Box

Does anyone have a comment on which of the two products of "hands-free" stabilizing of the tiller proves best for the DSII?

I prefer the Tiller Tamer. It allows you to set the friction such that you can move the tiller and leave it without having to lock and unlock evertime you go to move the tiller. I have used tiller locks on other boat and found them to be a PITA after using the tiller tamer. There is not that big a difference in cost. The tiller tamer is made a little cheesey and if it everdoes break I will replace the plastic channel with a ss one, keeping all of the other parts.

Looks like a Rube Goldberg design.

By the time you pay for the jam cleat the small block and the eye you can by a tiller tamer for $21.
