I have 2 loose window hatches. One in the head and the other in the aft stateroom. They do not stay open and fall completly shut. Is there an adjustment screw or something to tighten these up?

If they are like the ones on the 320

There should be some small plastic covers on the top of the hatch (hatch opens to the outside) if you remove these, you will see some tension adjusters, you will need two small screw drivers (eyeglass type) and if you adjust these in oposite directions, they will tighten and remain in an open position. Be carefull with the plastic covers, they like to jump overboard. Regards. Bruce Neon Moon

Port Adjustment

I have a 2000 H340 and have adjusted the ports in both the head and aft cabin because they would not stay in the fully open position. The adjustments are made from inside the cabin. Its not difficult, but does take a little time because you basically have to take the port apart. To do this start by removing the trim piece. Mine is held in place by friction, so you gently pry it out working your way around the outside edge. Once the trim piece has been removed the actual retaining piece will be exposed. There are several phillips screws in the "ring" that need to be removed. When removing the screws, remember the location of each screw because mine uses different length screw due to the varring thickness of the material the port is mounted in. The port is caulked in place and will not fall out when the ring is removed (but if it makes you feel better have someone hold the port in place from the outside when you remove the final screws.) When the ring is removed, it will allow you to access the hinges. Using a allen wrench, tighten the hinges up and after that the port will stay in whatever position you put it. Reinstall the ring, screws and trim piece and your done!
