Has anyone had experience with the plastic sail track and slides from Tides Marine? My mainsail is a bear to hoist and I'd like to know if their product is worth buying.
In a word, YES. I've had the Tides Marine Sail Track system on both my 28 ft Islander and now on my 41 ft Morgan. Makes raising and dropping the main a breeze. While I won't say we fight over who gets to go toward the mast to drop, both of us are of the mind that it's a easy, fun thing, instead of a dreaded chore.
