i have a 2014 Oceanis 45 which is now on a cradle. I am getting ready to launch and was reconnecting the battery cables to the bow thruster and noticed a black box with a rubber button on top of it next to the circuit breaker. So of course I had to push it. Nothing happened for 5 seconds and then there was a clunk. I have since found this was the positive battery switch. I'm not sure if I turned it off or not. I can't check until the boat is launched and I can run the motor. Anyone else happen to do this? Not sure if I should push it again. Why did I push it the first time? Because it was there.

Why can't you test the motor out of the water and just test it with short push of the button maybe just push button for a few seconds.
I don't have a trusted but is it not allowed to test run out of the water.

If that is a push button switch that disengages when released then it should be Off. I would be concerned about the clunk. Was something obstructing the thruster vanes from turning? It could explain the 5 second delay. Check for any damage and do test it before launching.

:plus:.. I'm with Benny.
I would not put the boat in the water, till I knew what went clunk, and if "Clunk" was a good or bad thing.
