thru hull on 22 O'Day

I'm having a devil of a time accessing the thru-hull from the sink. Is there an easy way to do this?

Augiedoc, I'm not sure how your setup is on a 22, but I am changing out my thru hull on my 26 under the galley sink in order to put in a true seacock and replace the ball valve. The area under the sink was floored with a small hole cut where the ball valve was located. In order to access the valve and make room for the seacock, I had to use a jig saw and cut the flooring away. The flooring could not be removed because it was installed and then the cabinet was place on top of it. Ben Allen Montgomery, AL "Wahoo" O'Day 26

I was afraid of that. The only way I can see to inspect my thru-hull is with mirrors or to disasemble the sink. thanks for the feed back. I can't wait until spring to get back on the water.
