I am looking to remove the cable that raises and lowers the keel extension on my hunter 30 75. I need to plug the hole where the cable comes thru the hull, I am also considering drilling thru the lead keel and installing a stainless steel bolt to hold the keel extension in the up position.I will also be removing the guide pole for the cable for more cabin area. If anyone has done this project could they ley me know what to look out for. Thank you
