During commissioning of Musetta for the 2017 season, I discovered that the engine does not return to idle speed when the control lever is shifted into neutral. It remains at about 2000 RPM, until I physically move the governor lever/regulator lever at the engine back to idle. I have not yet started to investigate this further, but I can imagine that the problem is either with the control lever on the steering pedestal, or with springs that are inside the governor. Any advice on where to look first?
