WE have a 423 with Volvo 3 cylinder engine and a Volvo throttle control. It is very "sticky" and hard to move from forward to reverse. And hard to know when you're in neutral. Makes docking quite stressful. Anybody have experience with this?
No direct experience with Volvo, but sticky linkages are usually caused by lack of lubrication or kinks in the cable. Eliminate those factors and see what happens.
