C Adams,
Good Old Boat Magazine is a good magazine. They have to pay their staff and writers to write articles. Do the right thing and order a back copy of the magazine. And you might find that a subscription is interesting. I have one and have had one since 2001.
In case you have not noticed, I can be aserbic and forceful at times. I have had direct communications with the Editors of that magazine.
When you send them a check, tell Karen that I told you to.
Any article from them is worth a few shekels. Go ahead.
Bye the way, several years ago they had a good article about the O'Day 25. In case you have not noticed, the 26 was an updated 25 correcting a few things that improved the boat.
For example a big problem with the 25 is that the original rudder was a few inches deeper than the keel. The 26 corrected that issue, making both the draft. However, if you load the boat aft heavy, you can still ground the rudder and not the keel which could cause damage.
