My boat has a 30 gal. water tank under the port lazarette, and the fuel tank under the starboard lazarette. The boat originally had no waste holding tank, and a PO installed a Dometic Traveler head which has a 9-gal. holding tank mounted as a part of the unit. There is also a much larger what appears to be another water tank under the berth in the aft cabin. It is not connected to anything. Any one have a tank like this, and if so, what is it for? Thanks.

Maybe it was installed as a waste tank? I removed the water tank and 9 gal. waste tank that was on my port side cause the PO had them installed and it had way to much wasted space and not enough volume for waste and fresh water sooooo after a lot of research at a company called Tank Depot (I'll post a link) I found a 25 gal water and a 23 gal waste and they both fit in the same place....I'll have to look and see if I can find the model numbers and save you a lot of time then you can claim that space under the aft berth for storage
