I have good friends that live aboard their 460, while I live aboard my 44. They are both sturdy boats. My friends seem very happy with their 460.
The 460/466 is an older Hunter design (designed just before Glenn Henderson came on board). The 460/466 have masthead rigs, are a little narrower in the beam, and are narrower in the stern. The forefoot is deeper. It has more of a 90s shape, while Glenn's updated models received generally more beam, a finer entry, and fuller sections aft.
The 460 has an awesome, 3-cabin layout (the master cabin is forward), that I really like. My friends use their 3rd cabin as extra indoor storage, which is very handy. Both work professional jobs. They devised a really great hanging system for their work clothes in the entry of the 3rd cabin. I like the storage options that Hunter put into the 460 better than in my 44. There's more of it, which is always a plus.
The 460 is driven by a 75 HP Yanmar, my 44 is driven by a 55 HP Yanmar. The 460 weighs about 3,000 lbs more than my 44, and most of that extra weight is in ballast. I suspect that the hull of the 44 offers a little more form stability, which allowed Glenn to remove ballast and make the hull a little more easily driven, while still providing the same overall stability. It would be great if he were still around here to touch on the finer points of his designs.
