Thinking of buying a Capri 16.5, we want to talk

I am intrigued by the Capri 16.5 and I have a chance to purchase a 1997 in very good condition. However, I know nothing about this type of boat, its performance, and whether there are regattas or clubs in my area (Harve de Grace, Middle River, Baltimore, MD) Would really appreciate hearing from Capri 16.5 owners. Capri 16.5

I have owned my 16.5 since 1995 and it is an excellent boat. Unfortunately, I need to sell it this year but love the boat so much that I have yet to place an ad.
