ok, I know what your probably thinking... -I don't really want to sell the KnottyGirl but the lake here is a disaster, i don't think its gonna recover from drought even for this summer - shes midway through a restore / update below, i tore the main sail in half the only time i took her out Last summer, so i can only imagine the rest of the sails are in pretty rough shape as well... i dont know... she's a '78, whats she worth?

The big question is can you get it out of the lake? The other way is to view this as an opportunity to get the pressure off and pull a complete recycling. I'm skeptical that YOT will hit the water this year which is a major bummer but it offers me the time to do those things that will make it extra special. My new mainsail will be in around April and the 100% is here in the box. If I were that anxious to sail there are sure to be crew opportunities. Just some thoughts. Good luck.

I would hang on to that boat Gabe. You'll kick yourself later on for selling it.

What I would do Gabriel is buy a small sailboat that you can use to screw around with on that lake and bring KnottyGirl home and park her in your yard. Then you can give yourself enough time to collect your thoughts and figure out where you can sail her. Meanwhile, you'll have something to use on the water even if it's a small kayak.
