Really too bad. And two months wouldn't even get you started. Is there a place where you can store the parts that you strip? Always someone looking for spars, furlers, winches, steering components, and stainless. What about the Yanmar, which one and how bad?
Hi Ed.
I have a storage unit STACKED with any thing I've removed from her plus parts from a pearson that went up on the rocks on Green cay and was smashied in short order.

Motor is 3Q...shot

Almost got the 1 DAY old 3Q yanmar out before she caved in... Almost(sitting on counter:doh:)

3 Sails from saltfish plus 2 donations
Harken roler furler (Pulled from '68, 34' Morgan in 50' water)

6" aliminum flag pole tubing
Interior woodwork (parts found floating in her)

I'll have to do an inventory when i'm back on the rock.

What I Need-

I know where you can get a rudder

If you contact Foss Foam in Florida, they can build you a new rudder. They just built me a new one using better designed materials and stock, and I think it's kick ass. The old one's post was bent, just a little, but still bent. Their web site is www.newrudders.com They were great at working with me. Before you ask, I was lucky enough to drive over and pick it up, I don't know how much it would cost to ship. Figure 80lbs (?) and 6 1/2 feet tall and 4 feet wide, and 1/2 foot thick.
