Things to look out for when buying a 2006 36 Mk II

I recently sold my 1976 Catalina 27 and have put an offer in on a 2006 36 MK II. I have a survey/sea trial scheduled for early this week. I'm just curious if anyone here has any experience with this particular model and year? Are there specific things that I should be on the look out for? Can anyone give me feedback negative or positive on their experiences with the boat?

From what I've gathered - look for deck rot around the chain plates, under the mast. Be sure all the required engine upgrades have been done. I love my C-36. Be sure and look around at both catalina36.org (join the international if you get it) and also the Catalina 34 c34.org. Stu has put a ton of info on our engines and lots of data that pertains to both the 34 & 36. Best of luck.
