No kidding.
We leave the boat and trailer, overnight, on the marina parking lot. Very common to see 10 trailers there as people do night fishing, explore Kentucky Lake, the Ohio river or longer if they are doing the Great Loop.
The next moring, the admiral says to me, "maybe you can have the plug fixed when you get the bearing buddy replaced" I say, "what do you mean, fix the plug?"
Sure enough, someone, (a toothless, cousin marrying hill jack, no doubt) had cut off the old plug!
But here is the funny part. The remaining wires were stripped perfectly with one inch of new wire showing so as to make the install of the new plug a snap.
They could not afford the time or the $1.50 to run to wal-mart to buy them a new plug, they had to steal mine. But they were courteous enough to strip the wires for me?
Go figure.
