O-day 25 shoal keel Valdez
Well Don't know what I did but it published before I was done. Also got the mast removed and ready to start shining up the boat. Needed to change the water pump for the cabin water. It was between the cabin bulkhead and the water tank and the tank was glassed in. That was fun to remove. Also going to raise the propane tank box as it sits on the sole and the lines to let propane escape have to all run up hill. There are two lines, thought you only needed one? Also when I build the platform will make battery storage under it . Then move the water tank to where the batteries are. One thing I did notice was it looked like at one time there were supports or stiffeners under the cockpit floor that were cut. Does anyone with a 25 have anything under their cockpit floor for support?

Well started to fix the crack on the transom. It was hard to dive in and grind a big hole in the boat. More was broken then I thought. Also got the mast removed and
i take a deep breath and say, "it's just a boat." but that only made it a little easier!

Hey, you gotta to do what needs to be done, right? It's either that or bigger problems down the road. It's always best to catch them when you first see them.

Once the initial shock of the OMG I just chopped into my boat is over it really isn't that bad. Best wishes for the successful completion of your project.

I think that the most difficult part of doing a repair such as this is trying to match the gel-coat and I've never been successful with gel-coat.
