The Sea Toilet

Does anyone have a toilet fitted in the original place. I have recently purchased a sandpiper but over the years it has been modified. Where the toilet used to be I now have depth sounder and speed transducers. I know it would be easier to just buy a 'porta potti' but that then takes up room. My problem is my son and daughter who I just know will need 'to go' as soon as the sail is up!! I would like some photos of the installation or any hints on what after market toilet to buy. I am guessing that I can get the same bit as you guys across the water.

MSD series can be used as regular porta-pottis or can be plumbed to be pumped out. http://www.thetford.com/marine_series.cfm#aquamate

I was considering same

I was thinking of installing a real marine head also. Since my boat came from Quebec it has a VISA MSD. Lately one problem had cropped up. The Bras d'Or Lakes in Cape Breton are now protected and it's illegal to dump overboard...although on our coastal waters (Atlantic Ocean) we still can discharge directly. What to do? A bigger boat would have a marine toilet with direct discharge *and* a y-valve with holding tank.
