It would be wonderful if anyone out there has any information on the 13' O'day Mini Sail. Knowing absolutely nothing about sailing (except that I was begging to have the chance) I got extremely lucky and picked one up at a yard sale in NY... The owner (ill at the time and barely able to talk) keep saying it was an O'DAY! That meant nothing to me at the time... but now I know these boats are indeed special. I would like to get this great little (and apparently rare) boat back in top form again. So far, my searching has led me to one great 1968 ad with photo and small print copy.. but no real specs and details. I would great appreciate more information (any and all) that relate to this boat and its details. (I'll try to post a photo of my soon.) I know I need the proper mast, the right rudder/tiller and the official sail. The rigging had been altered. So, a big THANK YOU to all that might have info or insights into this 'Mini Sail Business'. I do know that the boat was designed by Ian Proctor and made in London by Gemico (Name plate says all this) Again, thanks for loading me up with any info. Sincerely.
