I would like to hear what the Grenadines are like, we have a Moorings 38 cat next January. Is it as nice as the pictures look? Any favorite watering holes, boat drinks, dinner spots and sweet anchor spots?

Yes, they're as pretty as the pictures. You can skip St. Vincent. Bequia has the Frangipani, Mustique has Basel's (very expensive). The lesser islands only have one place to choose from . . . Tobago Cays are a must, the clearest water int the Caribbean. Good thing you have a cat, it's shallow in there. You'll have to deal with boat boys and other nuisances, but it is no big deal. Service is definitely on island time, so if you expect it like home you can count on disappointment and frustration. But if you can get into island time, no problem. Some of the inter-island sails are real blue water sails, good waves and wind. Be quick to reef.

Just got back from 2 week Windjammer cruise from Antigua to Grenada and Grenadines were definite highlight. I WILL be back, either charter or on my own boat, sooner than later.
