Does anyone know how far the arm on the fuel shut off valve to kill the engine has to travel to completely shut off the fuel on a Yanmar 2GMF? My boat is still shrink wrapped.
Thanks
Keith
Have manually used it to turn off the engine but never measured the travel. Judging from the length of the cable exposed at the control panel until the engine sputters it could be roughly around 2 inches? This is just an educated guess and I don't know how exact you need the measurement to be.
Thanks, I am trying to replace it with a solenoid. I did get a link to one that another sailor used to do the same I am trying to work out the mechanics but not able to get to the boat.
