Hi all,

As the weather has been nice people have moved on or have come in. At the weekly dinghy raft up at dusk there have been many interesting cruisers. Some that have traveled the world, some from our own state of NH. One of the latest boats has cruisers that have made our traveling life a lot safer. I'll give you a hint, they're from Maine. We usually meet dinghies in the Five Pirates anchorage.

You got it. I'm thinking I should get my questions in order so that when I corner them my thoughts would at least appear normal.

As Tim Samples put it,"Jess becuz a cat was bohn in a ov'n, dozn't make it a bisc't!". "From Maine" and "From MAINE" are two different statements. Ask anybody Downeast or from The County! You can be born here but if you parents weren't, you are still "from away". Cool to meet them regardless.

I beleive you mean "faux". Yeah, lots of us are at least half French too! Gives way to blue hairs using phrases like "Je voudrais une hamburger avec everything". But I'd bet they were "from away" when they first started flowing in from Quebec. Us Mainers are a close minded lot! For a laugh, look up Bob Marley, the local comedian.
