SailboatOwners.com is a dog friendly office and on any given day there are two to four mutts hanging around. Of course, if you've been on the phone with us when the UPS guy shows up, you already know this. Over the next few weeks we're going feature each dog.

Joe is a 10 year-old mini longhair dachshund and while definitely cute and friendly, he's a serious bad ass.

His job at SBO is to instruct all other animals on proper pack order. Joe belongs to Phil and in his spare time enjoys riding motorcycles and relieving himself in corners. (Joe, not Phil.)

That's pretty awesome. Same dog we have. Her name is Jasmine and she likes to relieve herself in my cockpit. Better than the cabin I suppose.

Joe have a Corncob?

My friends shorthair dachshund ate a corncob and nearly died. Thousand dollar surgery to survive. Please stick to Kong toys and milk bones.

Sorry to hear that about your friend's dog. If you think we gave him the cob then you've never owned a dachshund. ;)

reminds me of when i was 9 years old and my cousin had a dachshund at my grandmothers house where i was raising baby chicks...they had gotten to about fryer size and one day i went out to check on them and Frankie (the dog) had killed them ...i was devastated and broken hearted needless to say i was going to kill Frankie but my parents intervened lol
